Loqatr is a low cost, yet durable way to ensure your belongings are safe or to give people the information they need to help you are in need. Allow people to get in contact with you or your emergency contacts, share their location with you and make sure that getting your things back or your information out there is quick, slick and hassle-free.
What can I use it for?
The short answer is “anything and everything”. Think about the hassle of your child misplacing their new tog bag or science book. Or losing your book on an airplane, leaving your wallet in the bathroom. The pain of dropping your ID at the club, or leaving your house keys in the taxi. Do you have a roaming kitty or a sneaky pup, let people know what they are allergic to and get them back before the panic sets in. We all have valuables, whether that is to your wallet or your sanity – avoid the fuss with LOQATR.
How will someone contact me if they scan my tag?
If your tag is marked as public, the person scanning your tag will see all of the information provided to assist you, including your contact information. They will be prompted to call, email, or WhatsApp you. When making use of WhatsApp, they will have the option to share their location, to ensure you find your belongings as soon as possible. If your tag is marked as private, the finder will see all the information you provided for them to assist you, except your contact information. They will be nudged to ask you to make your tag public in order to contact you, where you will get an immediate email from the LOQATR team.
How can I buy a tag?
Loqatr tags can be bought through our online store. Our multi-tag packs can be delivered nationwide. All our tags can be purchased from a retailer coming soon.
Is my information private?
Yes, you have the option to have your information marked as private. If your information is private, someone scanning your tag will be able to reach out to you by requesting you to mark your tag public, but otherwise you will still receive a notification from the LOQATR team.
How do I get my lost item?
Although we can assure you that finding and retrieving your lost item will be far easier when using a LOQATR tag, it will be up to you and the Good Samaritan that found your belongings to arrange reuniting. But with all your contact information, this should be as easy as it was to tag your item!
Are there any subscription fees involved?
Great news, no ongoing subscription. Once you have made your tag purchase, you are free to use it as you please for as long as you please!
