Welcome to LOQATR Pty Ltd (“LOQATR,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services. By purchasing, registering, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

LOQATR provides QR-coded products that allow customers to:

  • Assign QR codes to their profile and tag their personal assets with the information they choose to display when the QR code is scanned.

  • Manage their information and set their QR codes to public or private to control the visibility of their contact details.

LOQATR is not a lost-and-found service and does not guarantee the recovery of lost items.

2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

  • To use our services, you must create an account with a valid email address and phone number.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and ensuring that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.

  • LOQATR reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Payments & Refunds

  • All purchases made through LOQATR are one-time purchases.

  • LOQATR does not offer refunds. However, products that arrive damaged may be replaced if reported within 14 days of receipt.

4. Prohibited Uses

Users may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or commercialize LOQATR’s QR-coded products without authorization.

  • Use the service for fraudulent, illegal, or misleading activities.

  • Upload or share false, offensive, or unlawful information through their QR profiles.

5. Data Protection & Privacy

  • LOQATR is fully compliant with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

  • Our data collection, usage, and protection policies are outlined in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

  • Customers control what data they input and can modify or remove their information at any time.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • LOQATR provides a platform for personal asset tracking but does not guarantee the recovery of lost items.

  • We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental losses resulting from the use or misuse of our QR codes.

7. Termination of Service

  • LOQATR reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account at its sole discretion for violations of these Terms.

  • Customers may terminate their account at any time by contacting hello@loqatr.com.

  • Upon termination, all personal data associated with the account will be removed, subject to legal obligations.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.

  • Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
